Possibly. Unfortunately, things are a little busy for me, but I should have some time in about a week :).

I'm still not sure about that, I will have to look into it. But it certainly looks like it.

Wow .. is that his 'normal' posture? He really looks like a cripple, the poor man ...

It is, indeed. That's Joker's idle animation. I'm not sure, but I think he uses the same animation as the husks in ME2, which is almost cruel in a way. Poor Jeff.

Oh right .. didn't think of that. Well I'll never think of him as a husk, that's for sure. :)

And who knows, maybe the hanar can find a cure for his illnes one day? As well as for the drell condition.

I checked up on that, by the way, and while eerily similar for the idle pose, the husk does indeed use a different animation from Joker. The husk has it's head lolling to the side (which is the main difference) and has attack animations (which Joker does not). So Joker will not be thought of as a husk ᴖᴥᴖ.

Perhaps they will. We can always hope. Probably not in ME3, but that's what fan fictions are for.

Oh, good. Thank you for that! I'm so relieved. :)

Yes I remember the head animation now of course.

Well, if we do defeat the Reapers in the end, who knows what technological advances we'll be able to glean from their carcasses? :) I read an interesting fic a while ago that had Cerberus revive a deceased Jeff just as they did with Shepard, they even had a cure for his disease, an injection to be administered once a month. If Shepard decided to leave Cerberus, Jeff wouldn't receive his cure, so ...

So, Shepard Jeff needs to fly in with Shepard and the crew and get the cure so they can make it themselves aboard the Normandy :). I'm still uncertain that experimenting with Reaper technology is a good idea, even an apparently dead Reaper can drive people insane and indoctrinate them. But who knows, the Reaper in ME2 wasn't actually dead, as such, it was more like a state of hibernation due to the extensive damage.

And that's about how far the fic went when I reached the final chapter. As far as I could tell, it was a work in progess but hadn't been uploaded in a long time so ...

I know. I just have this feeling the Reapers will be neutralized one way or another. Have you seen Star Trek, the original movie from 1977 or sometime back then? If not, in there, a human space probe finds a world populated with intelligent machines and is given a new purpose - to find its makers and join with them for an exchange of data.

That idea somehow struck a chord with me when I'm thinking about the Reapers. Perhaps that's exactly what they're looking for, to find their creators (not that humans themselves created them, but perhaps some distant relative of humans did) Maybe Shepard must join physically with a Reaper? I wouldn't be surprised if something like that did happen, seeing as BioWare seems to have borrowed so much from other games and movies. :)

Ah, that's a shame.

Since I have read the leaked spoilers extensively, I won't go into detail but their existence is pretty much what it seems; to wipe out intelligent life at a certain period of time. There's also multiple endings, which BioWare has already announced that there would be based on your choices, so you never know what you will find :).
