I... have to colour them myself, since BioWare uses a "RGB tint map" in order to reduce the overall size of the resources. Everyone's eyes are from the same map, a steely blue colour, but then changed with the tint map. I'm not great with colours at all, so you will have to pardon the likely differences.
You are more than welcome. As far as I can tell, there's only a few left. To date that's over a hundred references.
True. It's a similar thing with the visor. One map that you can alter the colours on instead of multiple maps. Saves time and resources on the disc when things can be done programmatically.
Indeed it does. It's no wonder that it takes so much time to get a game like this out. My first guess for the release of ME3 was about April, give or take, that was before BioWare announced that they would be setting the release back to March.
And then there are emerald-eyed turians ... melts.
It'd be awesome to actually follow a game developer through all stages of producing a game, I really have no idea what's involved except that it takes a LOT of work and man-hours. I'm so glad we're getting the game early March, only three months to go.
He really DOESN'T ever take off that eyepiece, does he? xD What does it mean that most of my artwork of him (the bulk of which is in my fancomic) have him not wearing it...? (Other than the fact I'm less lazy than the designers who didn't feel like making him a separate model...)
This is really wonderful! I was planning on making an attempt at some comic like pieces in the near future! I will use these! Probably the best model resource out there, and I will link to you. I am sure many ME fanartists would benefit greatly from this!
