Lol, you did do the volus after all. :)

These guys are so .. extraordinary in every sense. Ha ha, I just love them. Probably because I can relate to their shape. :D

:D.

I think they are interesting, more from a biological sense; they breathe methane, I think. Wonder if we will get to see their homeworld in ME3?

They're adorable in every sense I think. Aww, just think of the 'biotic God' from ME2 stumbling around ... too cute!

Methane, huh? I didn't know that. I've been focusing on turians all the way so I really don't know much about the other species yet. :)

I can't help but always save the Biotic God, I let him charge on once and the scene was hilarious, but I just couldn't do it in consecutive runs.

Ah, my mistake; I'm probably thinking of something else.

Here's what the Wiki says about it, still interesting:

The volus homeworld Irune features an ammonia-based ecology and a gravitational field 1.5 times that of Earth, as well as a high-pressure atmosphere. This is reflected in the physiology of the volus themselves. The volus are unable to survive unprotected in an atmosphere more suitable to humans and other carbon-based lifeforms, and as such require protective suits capable of providing the proper atmosphere, as well as being pressurized to support the volus. Traditional nitrogen/oxygen air mixtures are poisonous to them.

I know, right, he's just so funny and adorable. I didn't even know you could kill him? I suppose that would be the Renegade side of things.

I see, maybe Grunts from Halo? :)

Thanks for that, I've spent so much time on Mass Effect Wiki but I've never looked the Volus up so far. I really like how BioWare made such an interesting variety of alien life forms for the games, with dextro-amino acid turians and quarians and these volus ...

There is a Renegade dialogue option to encourage him to go after Wasea, but the dialogue option to convince him to stay back requires a Paragon interrupt. One can forgo the interrupt and allow him to get himself killed.

P.S. If you haven't done so, take Zaeed with you. His dialogue when you find Niftu Cal is priceless.

I think it was the Renegade option, otherwise you have to knock him over and he wanders off.

Could have been, though I think it was more likely to be a movie.

I know, I've spent quite a bit of time there myself, it really is a very interesting game. A lot of thought has gone into it so far.
