You are quite correct. But as I said in a previous comment: when in doubt, I go by what the file is called :).

technically they do, these fighters might have been loaned by the reapers. collectors only appear in a flashback by Javik, the prothean squad mate.

the DLC From the Ashes. he was cryogenically frozen in a secret vault on Eden Prime. Cerberus uncovers him and shepard and his team awaken him. he's a soldier and has a bit of a superiority complex cause last time he saw human, asari, turian and so on, they were living in cave and it seems a joke to him that they rule the galaxy now.

Technically, yes, and this was taken from the Earth sequence where you see one attacking an Alliance fighter.

In quite a lot of cases if I don't know what to call a particular thing, I just call it what the file name calls it :).

It is, yes.

As well as appearing in ME2 before it sheds 'wings,' back during the suicide mission, it also appears in ME3. The name of the file in ME3 was "Collector_Fighter" so that's what I went with :). My naming scheme comes mainly from the files themselves, to save confusion for myself more than anything else.

Is this file you are referring to the file name for the model? I am trying to find the model and don't seem to be able to. There are so many files, and I am not familiar with BioWare's naming system

Heya, sorry, I haven't been active on here in some months.  Yes, 'Collector_Fighter' is the name of the extracted file.  I don't remember what the name of the file it is located in, however.
