I couldn't help but laughing when I came across this character ... not only because of her skintight dress, but because her last name happens to be a 'woman's magazine' in my country. Full of gossip and such.
Why is it that the 3D of the sexy dressed ladies in ME always looks messed up like... Hey chic, are you wearing heels and a skirt for the first time?
This is killing the immersion with Shep in the dress and Diana too. She stands there like a Hulk, not even the slightest gilryish pose... legs apart, arms in a way as if they have too much muscle to stand staight... The programmers can do so much with 3D but when it comes to this, they suck. The dress itself seems pretty wicked but neither Shep nor Diana can actually "wear" it.
Oh, and try Shep sitting down in it, f/x next to Aria... N O T sexy.
I like it with Shep, as she generally comes across as someone who isn't really into that stuff anyway. I can totally imagine that the party with Katsumi in ME2 was probably only like the second or third time in her entire life she'd ever dressed like that, and that she spent the entire time hating the shoes and looking forward to getting back into her comfy, functional ship duds.
Others though, not so much. It would be cool if it was a character thing with only Shep, and the other women looking more natural/comfortable with it, but if they're all like that, then, yeah, it's just an oversight.
To be fair, they may not have been clueless, it just may have been another in the many, many things that have to be triaged in the name of time an money during development. Making a whole alternate set of animations represents extra hours of work an extra disk/download space, after all, and if that time/space ends up being needed for something more important, you can't fault them for letting a minor cosmetic thing like that go.

I was never sure why everyone was hating on Jessica being a voice actor in game. Just because she's a video game site host she isn't allowed to expand into acting? Really? but in game I did find her acting to be quite wooden and it felt alittle too reading off paper. But I understand it's her first main job with voice acting so I still give her some credit for doing it.
Laziest voice acting and the character model feels so out of place. :/ I don't even think Chobot wanted to be in the game all that much, especially when she realized she couldn't voice act to save her life.
As like a last ditch thing, yeah, I admit, I don't understand hating her, she's just mediocre. They could have made it awesome and gave her more depth and stuff, you know, actually coach her on voice acting...but it feels kinda forced.
