I know the big Reapers were design after the Leviathans, but what the hell were these modeled off of?

Entire lower half - four legs, clawed feet, pelvis area.  Reapers have always fudged with the anatomy of species they convert - Reapers themselves have a different amount of legs than the Leviathans, along with those small limbs on the back of the shell.  The destroyer is basically a keeper with a Reaper's trademark leaf torso in place of what would be the torso/head of a keeper.
