Hey, by the way ... since you seem to know the games inside and out ... I seem to have struck upon a rather embarassing problem in ME2; I'm on my third or so recruiting mission and I did Zaeed's loyalty mission as well this afternoon .. and I don't even have an assault rifle yet! Did I miss some pickup somewhere or does this have to do with the fact that I'm playing as Infiltrator this time rather than Soldier?
The Spectre armour would be nice to see as well, never seen it for any race myself.
The Vindicator assault rifle can be found when recruiting Garrus (I usually bypass it, since I have the Mattock that came in the DLC), right after the intro scene. It is on the couch/sofa nearby.
The Revenant can only be found in the Collector base, if I remember it right.
Right, I thought there was something to pick up during Garrus' recruiting mission but I didn't find it this time.
Thanks, I'll see what happens. Never played as Infiltrator before, but the game promises a unique new experience, so .. I guess I'll have to learn how to fight without my trusty assault rifle.
As an Infiltrator, you can only use a sniper rifle, a pistol, and heavy weapon (I think that's all). Only other squadmates will be able to use the assault rifle.
I've never played as Infiltrator, either. Good luck with the rest of the game.
