Mass Effect, Systems Alliance Dreadnought/Cruiser © BioWare/EA.

You are free to use this reference however you wish. You can also download the full size version.

Note: There is some debate over whether or not this is a dreadnought or a cruiser. Please be aware that I can only post what the files indicate the model is.

It's interesting how they went away from the blocky look in the unused game files toward a design that looks a lot closer to the Turian style. It makes sense setting-wise but I do wish it had a bit more visual "pop."

yep sorry mate, that isn't a dreadnought. Dreadnought has 4 engines, that only has 2, that be a cruiser.

This is taken from the ME files (an in the first game). The model for the dreadnought has likely changed since then (and I will be doing the ME3 Alliance version of the dreadnought). But as far as the ME1 files indicate, the dreadnought is just a scaled up version of the cruiser.

It should also be noted that some models that appeared in pre-rendered cinematics weren't included in the actual game.

Do the best with what you have :).

Well, in the lore there are actually two types of dreadnought, thr older Everest (Which I imagine this one is) and the newer Kilimanjaro (ME3). Based on their official descriptions, I think that this is correct.
