Ha ha, I was just reminded the first time I spied Garrus' face inside a helmet ... and he wasn't wearing his visor. I thought that thing was glued to his face or something. :)

Thanks a lot for these references!

Ha ha, it is, but it gets removed otherwise it would be jutting out of the front of his helmet.

You're more than welcome :).

Yes I guess so. In any case it would most likely be very uncomfortable for him, he he. :)

But seriously, how do you figure that thing works? Is it connected to his brain somehow, like he's fitted with some kind of interface that hooks up to it? I always assumed it was hooked into his armour somehow but then he showed up wearing it in his civvies for his romantic night with Shepard, so that can't be it.

Also, I've been trying to figure out how omni-tools work. Can you use them when wearing civvies as well? What do you think? I couldn't determine if that's the case by looking it up on Wiki unfortunately.

I'm not entirely sure how the eyepiece works, but it I would think it is possible to remove. My best guess is that it's a form of Encefalo Graph.

As for the omni-tool, it could be a small implant. I'm not entirely sure how it works, either. It doesn't seem to have any problem getting past a full body barrier like Tali's suit, so I assume it might be a small device that just fits into a pocket for some, and perhaps an implant for others?

Yes that's a good guess. It seems to be attached to the plates on the back of his neck with a little 'knob' or something, maybe that's the contact point, or 'interface'.

I still can't get over the fact that he wore it for the romantic night though. Argh. Always makes me wonder if he's secretly recording the session or watching some porn or something in the background. :)

No I couldn't figure that out either, I don't think I've seen a user deploy one without wearing armour. Or maybe I do, come to think of it. Isn't there a human who rescues your squad mates from underneath a piece of wreckage after the final battle with Sovereign? I think he's wearing a C-SEC uniform rather than armour. So maybe that settles it? :) Thanks!
